Carrot Snack,Carrot Curry,Fresh Carrot Curry is a form of carrot side dish or a snack that can be taken raw during evening dishes or can be served as sidedish alongside variety rice like coconut rice, lemon rice, puligore/puliyodharai, pulav, biryani etc
Ingredients Needed :
1) Finely grated carrot - 1 cup
2) Mustard - 1/2 tsp
3) Salt - as needed
4) urud dhal/ulutham paruppu - 1/2tsp
5) Curry Leaves - 1/2 cup
6) Asafoetida powder - 1/2 tsp
7) Oil - as needed
8) Green Chillies - 3
Method of preparation
1) Heat oil in skillet. Add mustard, urud dhal, green chillies, curry leaves, asafoetida powder.
2) Mix it with finely grated carrot and add salt
This is a great snack that can even be consumed as sidedish.
