Ingredients Needed :
Kambhu - 4 cups. If you make use of powder make use of 1 cup of powder
Urad dhal - 1 cup
Fenugeek seeds - as per taste preferably 1tsp
MEthod of preparation :
1) Soak kambhu in water for 5 hours. If you make use of powder this is not needed
2) Soak fenugreek seeds along with urad dhal in water for 5 hours
3) Add fenugeek seeds, urad dhal grind well. If you use whole ceral mix fenugreek seeds, urad dhal, kambhu and grind for 3 hours - Note that it is 3 times more than normal batter preparation
4) Add salt to taste and ferment
This is best served with chutney
