Many of us use babycorn the sweet little corn for preparing roti side dish. I've eaten it mostly as spicy side curry either dry or gravy form. Today I tried to taste this interesting dish in form of fritter popularly called the babycoen bhajji. Here is the simple menu to prepare this interesting dish
Ingredients Needed
Baby corn - as needed
salt - as needed
oil - as needed
garam masala - a pinch
chat masala/ amchur powder - pinch
chilli powder - 2tsp as per spice level
powdered jeera / cumin powder - 1 tsp
Water - as needed
besan - 1cup flour
corn flour - 1/2 cup
Method Of Preparation :
1) Prepare the fritter (bhajji) batter by mixing besan/kadalai mavu, corn flour, salt, chilli powder, chat masala, amchur powder,cumin powder, water
2) Mix well
3) Dip the baby corns in the batter
4) Heat oil. Fry this dipped baby corns
Serve hot alongside spicy chutneys like corriander chutney, chilli chutney
