Curd gravy is the dish made of fresh curd.
Ingredients Needed :
Fresh, thick Curd - 1 cup
Red chilli powder - 1tsp
Dhania Powder - 1/2tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida/perungayam - as needed
Salt - as needed
Cumin seeds - as needed
Mustard seeds - as needed
Curry leaves - as needed
Wheat flour - 1tsp
Oil - 2tsp
Water - 1 cup
Method Of Preparation :
1) Beat the curd till it is broken well
2) Dissolve all the dry masala powders in 2tsp water
3) Heat oil, add seeds and allow it to sputter
4) Now add curd to the oil, stir continuously. Add wheat flour to a glass of water. Add it to curd (boiling now) and mix well
5) Add vegetables (say boiled potatoes, carrot,beans,peas) at this stage
6) Stir until gravy becomes thick
7) Garnish with corriander
This can be served hot alongside rotis, rice.
