Maida flour cake is a quick easy recipe that can be prepared as a sweet during festivals like diwali,pongal,christmas. This is a good easy alternate to the mysorepaag made with besan flour.
Ingredients Needed :
maida flour - 1 cup
sugar - 2 cup
ghee - 1 cup
Method Of Preparation :
1) In sim heat(medium flame) heat 1/4 tumbler ghee and roast maida flour in ghee
2) Fry cashew nuts along with maida flour
3) 2 tumbler sugar+ 1/2 tumbler water - prepare sugar paagu - thread consistency needed. Switch off pagu and keep aside to cool
4) Sprinkle the maida cashew flour in sugar and mix well
5) Add ghee one by one
6) Spread ghee in [late and pour it. Cut into pieces
