Ragi Malt is a cool drink suitable for sunny days.
Ingredients Needed :
Dry fruits (raisin, cashew) - 1/2 cup
Milk - 1/2 cup
Ragi (finger millet) - 1 cup
Butter milk (or) curd - 1 cup
salt - as needed
Water - 3 cups
sugar - as needed. We can also use jaggery for this purpose
Method of preparation :
1) Mix ragi flour (finger millet) in water and keep aside
2) Boil water and mix the ragi batter. Bring it to boil. Boil for about 5 to 8 minutes
3) Mix curd with ragi mixture and and a pinch of salt - sour ragi malt
4) For sweet ragi malt mix ragi with jaggery and dry fruit mixture
