Ambe Pank,Ananas Pank, Strawbery Pank,Blueberry Pank is a traditional south indian dish from karnataka.
It is a sweet side dish that can be served alongside chapathis, dosa, poori etc.Pank can be prepared with different fruits like mango, pineapple, strawberry,blueberry.
Ingredients Needed :
Sugar - 1 cup
Mango/Pineapple/Strawberry/Blueberry - 1 cup
Cardamom (for flavour) - 1/2 to 1tsp depending on taste
Method of preparation :
1) Mix the finely cut and chopped fruit pieces (mango,pineapple,strawberry,blueberry) along with sugar and cook well in a non-stick pan
2) Keep stirring and cook it in a low flame
3) We get jeera of fruit and sugar
4) Place a drop of jeera in a plate. It shouldn't spread
5) This is allowed to cool and stored in a refrigerator in a air tight container
6) This is like a jam and remains food for long days.
7) This can be served alongside rotis,chapathis,bread,dosai,poori etc
