Ribbon Hot Spicy Diwali Savoury

In this series of diwali sweet and savouries preparation we will be discussing how to prepare the flat,hot and spicy ribbon.It is a fryums made of besan flour/kadalai mavu/channa dhal.
Ingredients Needed :
1) Chana dhal/kadali mavu - 1cup
2) rice flour/arisi mavu - 3/4 tumbler
3) chilli powder - 2 tsp
4) asafoetida/perungayam - 1tsp
5) salt - less than 1 tsp(optional)
6) ulutham podi - dry roast ulutham paruppu and grind well. use sieve and separate coarse particles. Mix coarse particles in idli milagai podi. Use soft part for savouries - 1 tsp full
7) Ghee - 2 tsp
Method Of Preparation :
1) Mix the ingredients well in a pan without water.
2) Mix water and mix well. It should be of loose consistency (loose than chapathi batter)
3) Put in olakku(metallic vessel) and prepare ribbon
Note : Oil should be hot. Heat oil in high frame and bring it to mid flame at the time of rosting
