Awesome Pongal With Leftover Rice

Whenever some rice gets left over, I maintian habit of soaking it in water overnight. Next day morning, I prepare cool curd rice using this rice. Though not really good for health as rice ferments overnight, I stock rice in refrigerator in air tight container at times.
Today, instead of curd rice I wanted to make some pongal based on left over rice. This can be made from leftover rice stored in refrigerator as well
Ingredients Needed:
Left over rice - soaked in water/plain
Moong Dhal - 1 cup
Method of preparation :
1) Add rice to moong dhal, pressure cook it
2) Add salt to taste
3) Garnish black pepper, jeera , cahsews in ghee and mix it to pongal
4) It is optional to add ginger to the garnishing
Serve hot with curd, coconut chutney and it tastes awesome
