Dhal Palak Paneer/Moong dhal palak paneer/Kesar Dhal Palak Paneer

Dhal Palak Paneer is a side dish that can be best served with chapathi, poori, dosai. It can also be served as a gravy with rice.
Ingredirents needed :
Paneer - 1 cup
Palak Greens (palak keerai) - 1cup
Salt - as needed
Oil- as needed
Water - as needed
Moong dhal( siru paruppu/ paitham paruppu/ kesar shal (same as moong dhal but orange in color) - 2 cup
Onion - 2
Tomatoes - 2
Curry leaves (karivepillai) - 1cup
Garlic/poondu - 1cup
Green chillies - 5
Mustard/kaduggu - as needed
Turmeric/manjal thool - as needed
Method of preparation :
1) Boil siruparuppu/moondhal/kesar dhal with a pinch of turmeric powder and keep aside
2) Heat oil in a pan and allow mustard to spatter
3) Add diced garlic, onions, curry leaves, tomatoes
4) Boil the paneer with a pinch of turmeric powder
5) Mix the boiled paneer, palak keerai to the mixture and add the boiled moong dhal/kesar dhal/siru paruppu
6) Add salt as needed
7) Allow the mixture to boil
Serve hot.
