Sweet jaggery seedai aka vella seedai is a traditional south indian cuisine prepared and served on janmashtami.
Ingredients and preparation Needed:
1 tumbler rice flour - dry roast and spread in plate
2 tsp urad dhal, ellu/sesame seeds, coconut, elachi
1/2 tumbler jaggery/vellam - 1/2 tumbler water slight boil
add this water and mix well with rice flour
let it dry for 2 hours. Note :
vellaseedai - dont add butter to vella seedai
