Muladhara Chakra, Base Chakra, Root Chakra, Mooladhara Chakra, First Chakra in Seven Major Chakras:
Muladhara Chakra/Base or root Chakra is the most importane of the seven major chakras in humab body.
It is located at the base of the spine in the vicinity of the coccygeal plexus beneath the sacrum.
It is square shaped, red in colour with four petals.within this chakra resides/sleeps the kundalini shakti.
Kundalini sakthi is the great spiritual potential, waiting to be aroused and brought back up to the source from which it originated.The source of origin is brahman.Muladhar is the abode of the Hindu God, Ganapati.Muladhara is the base from which the three main psychic channels or nadis emerge:
1) Thhe Ida
2) Pingala
3) Sushumna
Swadisthana Chakra, Second Major Chakra:
Swadisthana Chakra/ Second Main chakra of the seven major chakras in the human body.Swadisthana is positioned at the tailbone two finger width above the muladhara.It is represented as a chakra with six petals and orange in colour.It is associated with emotions and unconscious.
Swadisthana contains the kriya sakthi.It is the chakra that contains the sex desires. So it is generally considered difficult to raise the kundalini sakthi above this chakra.
Manipura Chakra, Third Major Chakra, City Of Jewels:
Manipura/Third Main Chakra/City of Jewels is the third main chakra of the seven chakras in the human body.Manipura is the center of intuition.It is also called as solar plexus.It is positioned at the navel region.It has ten petals.
It is associated with dynamism, energy, will-power.
It radiates and distributes prana to the rest of the body.
It is reddish-orange in colour.
