Masters in USA Step by Step Instructions

Are you aspiring to further your education in USA? If simple answer is YES, here are the step by step instructions to proceed further without any delay Step 1: To do Masters degree in US, the first thing that you need to do is write GRE(Graduate Record Examination) and TOEFL(Test of English as a foreign language). These are the basic two exams that is required by US universities and US embassy for issuing F-1 student visa. Step 2: The first thing that you need to do is book for an appointment for writing the test. The website that you need to go to book an appointment is http://www.ets.org . In this link under the "test" heading you will find GRE and TOEFL where you can follow the link and book an appointment, For GRE, you need to book for GRE(General Test) . Please follow the link for the pattern of the test. Step 3: To prepare for GRE test , I prepared by myself by reading various GRE books such as barrons, kaplan. There is also various training institutes who train for GRE. It depends on what an individual thinks about preparing for GRE. Say for example, if someone thinks he needs 3 or 5 months of preparation for GRE then he can book the appointment and start preparing for the exam. For TOEFL it is very easy to prepare.It should not take more than 10 days,. GRE preparation should also be helpful when writing TOEFL exam. Step 4: Applying for Universities: Once you have completed the GRE and TOEFL test you can send upto 5 universities for free (i.e., send GRE and toefl scores to the universities for free, otherwise you need to pay around $50 for sending the GRE and toefl scores to the universities). The reason why I am saying is that once someone has started to prepare for the exams, he can simultaneously select the university which he wants to pursue his masters degree.The university selection depends on his choice of specializaton available in the university, financial fees structure of the university, whether he will get aid in the university etc. For this he has to browse the internet and go the university website to collect all these details. Step 5: Once he/she has finished the GRE and toefl exams he can start applying for the univesities. For this, when someone starts preparing for the exam, he can select the university and ask the university to send application form to them by telling the university graduate school that he intends to pursue masters degree in their university and he wants details and application form mailed to his home address. All the universities will send him the prospective details and application form. With this he can use to send it along with the application fees after he completes the exams. Step 6:He/She has to send the application form along with the details required by the university(which includes affidavit of suppport of who is going to sponsor for his studies, xerox copy of gre and toefl scores, etc).
