If you have multiple email accounts and you want all the emails to be sent to a single mail box, this redirection is possible using Mail Fetcher. Mail fetcher is a free and easy to use feature that comes along with gmail. One important constraint is that all the email accounts to be included in mail fetcher should have POP access enables. By default all the gmail accounts have POP access enabled. If you are trying to integrate ymail,hotmail,rediffmail make sure that they have POP access enabled.This process helps us access all our mails in one single Gmail Interface. This is a boon for business users.
Follow the steps to setup the mail fetcher
1) Log into gmail account in which you want to get all final emails. Lets call it Master gmail account for our purpose
2) Click on the Settings tab at the top right corner of the gmail account
3) Open the Accounts and Import Tab. This is second tab next to General tab
4) Navigate to Check mail using POP3 section. click on Add POP3 email account tab
5) A popup occurs. In the box, type the fullname of the email address that we want to be integrated with (i.e Email accounts from which we want the mails to be forwarded to our Master gmail account). We can enter upto 5 gmail accounts. The setup happens one by one (i.e you need to repeat the steps 5 times). Click Next Step.
6) Add a mail account you own screen opens. We can supply the password, populate the details and click Add Account
Follow the above steps and add upto 5 mail accounts. They get forwarded to this master gmail account.
