Simple tip is going to be "Avoid Caffeine".
Researches show that during pregnancy it is not recomennded to consume more than 15oz caffeine per day...Yep it is per day...Caffeine can come in many different forms including :
1) Coffee
2) Tea
3) Hot Chocolate
4) Soft Drinks
5) Alcohol
So, make sure that caffeine is not an ingredient of the food you consume. Avoid this during pregnancy. It is a good pre-natal tip. So follow it if you are planning to carry soon.
