Tools needed to create schedule management plan

Schedule management plan the output from planning time schedule of a project is created applying the following tools and techniques: 1) Expert judgement - The fact needed for planning a schedule comes from history of similar projects. Analysing prior projects we need to mine historical information, apply our best judgement to come up with schedule needed for current project. Say, product implementation is a separate project in your organization. If the version 1 of the product would have taken 3 months, it would be appropriate to plan 4 months as tentative time needed for implementing version 2 of the product. 2) Analytic Techniques - Techniques like scheduling methodology, scheduling tools and techniques, estimating approaches, formats, and project management software may be needed for creating schedule plan 3) Meetings - Personnel including project manager, the project sponsor, selected project team members, selected stakeholders, anyone with responsibility for schedule planning or execution, and others as needed will meet and create the schedule
