Basic knowledge of select, insert, update,delete commands and usage is a plus 3) Learning HL7 helps you to get a break into EHR/EMR/IHE/HIS/LIS jobs. This can take form of implementation consultant, solution consultant, system analyst, system designer, support specialist, application support, business analyst, project manager to name a few 4) Communication and project management knowledge is mandate. Of these two communication is a definite need It is interesting to note that most of these careers are offered as remote positions and you can work at ease of home. However some jobs expect support beyond normal hours.
