How to reduce salt in dosa idly batter

Dosa batter as well as idly batter need to be properly ground, fermented for appropriate amount of time before that can be made into edible dosas, idlis. Over and above all of these the amount of salt that gets added to dosa idli batter plays a vital role in determining the taste of idli and dosas
What can I do if I had added large amount of salt in idli dosa batter unknowingly?
1) Additional dosa idli batter for taste betterment
Prepare additional batter, add fresh batter to the existing ones to bring down the salt content
2) Convert dosa idli batter to instant adai batter
Try to soak lentils like toor dhal, channa dhal and add them to this dosa idli batter to conveniently convert them into adai batter that is easier than preparing another batch of idli dosa batter as this typically takes about two hours of such lentil soaking before they cna be easily ground with red chillies in mixie if not grinder, added to this batter. Note that dont add salt as this is a fix for excess salt in place
3) Convert dosa idli batter to Appam batter
Another instant fix wherein you can add coconut milk to dosa idli batter, add some water to make it thin. This process brings down the salt content. Prepare soft appam using this instant mix
